These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of HelloAlpha.ai ("HelloAlpha," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Educational service and AI limitations
HelloAlpha provides educational content and an AI-assisted scam checker. Results may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. A "safe" result is not a guarantee, and a suspicious result is not proof of fraud. Independently verify important claims through the organization involved, using contact details you obtain from an official source.
The service does not provide legal, financial, medical, tax, cybersecurity-response, or law-enforcement advice. Do not send money, disclose credentials, install software, or take another consequential action solely because of a HelloAlpha result.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service to facilitate scams, phishing, harassment, malware, fraud, or other unlawful conduct.
- Submit content you lack the right to use or that unlawfully exposes another person's private information.
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
- Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without written authorization, or overload its infrastructure.
- Misrepresent an AI result as a professional determination, official certification, or guarantee.
Your content
You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant HelloAlpha and its service providers a limited, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, process, reproduce, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service, respond to your requests, or comply with law.
If you expressly create a public share link, you also authorize HelloAlpha to publish the associated analysis and the displayed preview until the share result is removed. Do not create a share link containing confidential or personal information.
Third-party services and links
The service relies on third-party hosting, email, search, and AI providers and may link to external websites. We do not control third-party services, and their terms and privacy practices apply to their processing. A link does not necessarily mean endorsement.
Intellectual property
Except for user content and third-party materials, the website's design, software, branding, and original content are owned by or licensed to HelloAlpha. You may link to public pages and quote brief portions with attribution. You may not copy, scrape, republish, sell, or create a competing dataset from substantial portions of the service without permission or another lawful basis.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the service, including features and content, at any time. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or continued storage of submissions, feedback, or public share links.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that every scam or threat will be detected. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HelloAlpha and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits or data, or losses resulting from reliance on content or AI results, third-party conduct, unauthorized access, or service interruption. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Enforcement and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, threatened the service or others, or exposed us to legal risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live requires otherwise.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
Privacy and contact
Our Privacy Policy explains our data practices. Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the contact page.
